Chairperson of the Foreign Languages Department - Pimenova Zoya Pavlovna - PhD in Philology, Docent

Graduated from Irkutsk State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages of Ho She Min, attended two year advanced courses in Pedagogical Institute of Gertsen A.I. in St. Petersburg. Finished undergraduate school of Leningrad branch of Linguistic Institute of USSR Science Academy, has more than 60 publications. At the present moment she teaches practical course of French language. Pimenova Z.P. is an academic adviser of diploma and course papers. She takes part in Russian and international conferences and symposiums on the issues of linguistics. She has been to France several times. She speaks French and German, likes to read.

Brief historical information
The process of Foreign languages studying is supervised by the special department - Foreign languages department which was organized in 1990 at the same time as the faculty. The first chairperson was Zavialova A.G., PhD in pedagogy, a specialist in methodology of early foreign language teaching. At present the chairperson is Pimenova Z.P., PhD in Philology.
