It was established on the 1st of October in 2002. The manager of this band is a senior instructor of the department of Pedagogy and Psychology (preschool) - Normanova Tatiana Konstantinovna. The band's activity is being realized in the frame of the special course, where the students take the flute and other musical instruments lessons, master special rhythmic exercises and learn to play together in a band and an orchestra.

In the course of study the students also get to know the history and fairy origin of this musical instrument, what contributes to creating a friendly attitude to the instrument which is necessary for success.

The musical works by Mozart, French composers ("Strangers in the night", "Ave Maria", compositions from musical "Notre Dame de Paris", etc). The band takes active part in literary-musical saloon and other university events. Any student can take part in this band even without any experience. The only requirement - is to have your own flute. We welcome everybody to our club and wait for you at the department of Pedagogy and Psychology (preschool), room # 306.

It has been functioning for 5 years already. Its manager is a senior instructor of the Pedagogy and Psychology Department - Alekseeva Yulia Valerievna. In the frame of this salon the students make performances on various topics devoted to different epochs including all art spheres: music, literature, painting, etc. The salons on the following topics were conducted recently:
"Shakopee and music"
" By the 200th anniversary of Pushkin A.S."
"The portraits of American composers"
"Modern French music"

The soloists of Irkutsk Philarmony: the band Trio "Rondo", singers - Troshin N, Vasilieva N, Grigorieva N, and others are invited to take part in the Musical-Literary salons. The students of our faculty and the students of other faculties regularly take part in the salons. We'll be happy to see everyone who is interested in classic music and literature. We invite you to attend our next performance, devoted to Spanish music, which is due in April.
