Dean of the School of Foreign Languages and Social Sciences - Igumnova Zhanna Ivanovna - PhD in Philology, Docent.

Graduated from Irkutsk State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages of Ho She Min, the German School. After graduating she taught English and German in Achinsk, Krasnoyarsk region. Then she became a teacher of the Department of Methodics of Teaching Foreign Languages at the German School. Then she became a senior teacher. After the PhD thesis defense she became a Docent of the Department, and then she is the Dean of the School of Foreign Languages and Social Sciences.

Igumnova Zhanna Ivanovna attended science courses by Professor Passov S.I., participated in compiling some German textbooks. At the present moment she teaches practical course of the German language and Methodics of Teaching Foreign Languages at the School of Foreign Languages and Social Sciences, she is a member of the Science Council of ISLU, is an academic adviser of dissertations and diplomacies.

She takes part in Russian and international conferences and symposiums; she has more than 40 scientific works, has a certificate with honour awarded by the Ministry of Education of the Russian federation for successful scientific and methodic work. At the present moment she is working at her Doctoral Dissertation. She has been to Switzerland and Germany several times. Also Zhanna Ivanovna speaks English and German. Her hobbies are classical music and skiing.
